It has been one year since Sen. Chief Ighoyota Amori (PhD) assumed the role of Chief Adviser to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori F.O JP. Appointed in early February 2025, Chief Adviser Amori brought to the office a wealth of experience, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to public service.
Shortly after his appointment, the official opening of his office took place on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, with a special blessing and sanctification by Very Rev. Fr. Chris Ekabo. This event marked the formal beginning of his physical presence in the office, but his advisory work and contributions to the administration commenced immediately following his appointment.
Over the past year, Chief Adviser Amori has played a pivotal role in shaping policy, coordinating strategic initiatives, and ensuring that the developmental programs of Governor Oborevwori’s administration are effectively executed. His dedication to service, professionalism, and fostering unity within government structures has been exemplary.
As we celebrate this milestone, it is evident that the first year of Chief Adviser Amori’s tenure has been defined by meaningful impact, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Delta State.
