NDA Online Application Closes May 15

The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced the closing date for its 2026 academic session applications.

The online application portal will shut on Friday, May 15, 2026.

The announcement was made in a statement by Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of N7,000.

Payment is to be made through the REMITA platform via the official NDA application portal.

The application is open to qualified Nigerian males and females aged 17 to 21.

Candidates must have at least five O’Level credits in SSCE, GCE, or NECO examinations.

Oghenesivbe advised prospective applicants to also register with JAMB.

They should select NDA as their first choice and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The application process involves creating a profile with a valid email and phone number.

Candidates must generate a Remita Retrieval Reference code for payment, complete the online form, and upload required documents.

Required documents include O’Level results, after which applicants should print the acknowledgement slip.

The screening test for the 78th Regular Course will hold on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Applicants have been urged to prepare adequately for the exercise.

Successful candidates will undergo a four-year academic programme at the NDA.

Upon completion, they will earn a degree and be commissioned as officers into the Armed Forces of Nigeria by the President and Commander-in-Chief.
