CHIEF ADVISER AMORI JOINS GOV. OBOREVWORI AT ELUE’S SERVICE OF SONGS

The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Sen. (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori, on Thursday, 16th April 2026, attended the Service of Songs held in honour of the late former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Benjamin Sunday Elue.

The solemn service took place at Camp Benjamin in Obior, Aniocha North Local Government Area, and drew a large gathering of family members, political associates, and well-wishers.

Sen. (Chief) Dr. Amori was part of the Governor’s entourage led by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State.

Several high-profile dignitaries were also in attendance to pay their last respects to the elder statesman, including former Governor Chief James Ibori.

The ceremony featured tributes, hymns, and prayers as attendees reflected on the life, service, and contributions of Sir Benjamin Elue to Delta State and the nation.

The presence of past and present leaders underscored the deep respect and admiration held for the late former Deputy Governor across political divides.

The Service of Songs formed part of the funeral rites lined up to celebrate the legacy and lasting impact of Sir Benjamin Sunday Elue.
