AMORI ADVICES GRADUATES 🎓 ON LIFELONG LEARNING

The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori, joined His Excellency the Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, at the 1st Convocation Ceremony of Southern Delta University Ozoro. The event took place on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, at the University’s Main Campus in Ozoro.

The convocation ceremony marked a significant milestone for the university, as it awarded diplomas and degrees to its graduates. The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, urged the students and graduates to acquire skills and become entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of self-employment.

The Governor also presented special gift awards to four first-class graduands for the 2024/2025 academic year: Akaine Frank (4.96), Imonisume Solomon Obrozie (4.87), Idiagbor Favour Adaoma (4.65), and Ndudi Winifred (5.57).

Sen. (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori, the Chief Adviser to the Governor, emphasized the importance of education, saying, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” He encouraged the graduating students to be lifelong learners, maintain a positive attitude, and explore vocational skills or entrepreneurship alongside job hunting.

Senator Amori also advised the students to stay resilient, ethical, and consider giving back to their community. His message was aimed at inspiring the graduates to make a positive impact in their chosen fields.
