Amori, Delta Speaker Attend Akpowowo’s 2nd Ethiope East Town Hall, Empowerment Programme

The Chief Adviser to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Senator Ighoyota Amori, alongside the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday, March 6, 2026, attended the 2nd Constituency Town Hall Meeting and Empowerment Programme organised by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo.

The event, held at Baptist High School, Eku, in Ethiope East Local Government Area, attracted party stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women groups and constituents from across the area.

Speaking at the gathering, Amori commended Akpowowo for sustaining regular town hall meetings and empowerment initiatives that strengthen the relationship between elected representatives and their constituents.

He noted that the Deputy Speaker has not disappointed in the responsibility entrusted to him, stating that he was proud of his performance and commitment to the development of Ethiope East. Amori also prayed for God to grant him greater wisdom and strength in his service to the people.

Speaker Guwor also praised Akpowowo for his dedication to effective representation and the welfare of his constituents.

In his address, the Deputy Speaker presented a constituency briefing highlighting his legislative contributions, constituency projects and development initiatives in Ethiope East.

The programme featured an empowerment segment where cash grants and working tools were distributed to selected youths, artisans, traders and women to support small businesses and encourage self-reliance.

The event ended with stakeholders commending the Deputy Speaker for his inclusive leadership and commitment to bringing governance closer to the people.
