
Mr. Clement Okorodide was sworn in as the Chairman of APC Ethiope West Local Government Area at the State APC Secretariat in Asaba on Monday, March 9th, 2026. The event marked a significant milestone in the local government’s political landscape.
Following his swearing-in ceremony, Mr. Okorodide, accompanied by his entourage, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Chief Adviser to the Governor, Sen. (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori. The delegation included the Delta Central Women Leader, Mrs. Esther Okamu, and the Hon. Felix Ejimiuoma, Leader of the House, Ethiope West and others
During the visit, Mr. Okorodide expressed his gratitude to Sen. Amori for the unwavering support he received, enabling him to take on the role of Chairman despite numerous challenges. He credited the Chief Adviser’s backing for giving him the boldness to serve in this capacity.
Sen. Amori, in his response, prayed for the new Chairman and his team to serve effectively with wisdom and understanding. He emphasized the importance of dedication and commitment to the people of Ethiope West, urging them to work tirelessly for the betterment of APC in the local government area .
The Chief Adviser also commended the Delta Central Women Leader and the Leader of the House for their support and contributions to the success of the event. He reiterated his commitment to working with all stakeholders to ensure the development of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ethiope West
