CHIEF ADVISER URGES UNITY AT APC ETHIOPE WEST RALLY

The APC Ethiope West Unity Rally took place on Sunday, 12th April 2026, at the Oghara Township Stadium, bringing together leaders from across the three kingdoms in Ethiope West: Oghara, Mosogar, and Idjerhe.

Sen. (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori, the Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, was the keynote speaker at the event, which aimed to unify the party and strengthen its chances in the forthcoming elections.

In his speech, the Chief Adviser emphasized the importance of unity and cohesion within the party, urging members to work together towards a common goal.

He specifically mentioned Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, describing her as “her daughter in whom he is well pleased,” indicating his support for her leadership.

The rally was also addressed by Chief Paulinus Akpeki, also known as the Ugo of Okpe Kingdom, who represented the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori.

Chief Akpeki, who is also the APC Delta Central Chairman, used the opportunity to call for continued love and unity within the party, saying “let’s let the love and unity continue to strengthen the Party in Ethiope West, so that the results speak in the forthcoming elections.”
